I do have to say, it is a course that requires your time, since there is a lot of material to work through, BUT it is so worth it. To be honest, I am just so proud of myself! And as I said, I owe that to Micke and her never-ending feedback, and all the detailed explanation she offered us along the way. Not ALL things, of course, it is PS after all! BUT, so many things that can help my editing can be a part of my workflow now. All the amazing things I knew PS could do, I can now do! Ok, let me not get ahead of myself. is an amazing instructor, and the way she set up the course (dividing each week into sections that you can work through during the week) made ALL THE DIFFERENCE, and PS – step by step started making sense to me. This time around, I was excited from week 1. Once upon a time, I took a PS course and nothing really made sense and after the course ended I never opened PS again. The Best! That is how I felt about this course while taking it, and once I completed it.

After taking this class I have an understanding of how to use PS to edit my photos to achieve the end photo I have in mind, and feel ready to explore further editing techniques because of the fundamentals that I learned. She is responsive, approachable, and so generous with her knowledge. Mickie is a fantastic teacher who offers up a wealth of knowledge to not only give students a solid base through the material that she introduces in the curriculum each week, but will supplement with additional techniques and workflows to help you achieve what you’re trying to create in PS in her responses to practice and assignment submissions, AND includes so much material that I know I’ll be coming back to the saved pdfs and videos to learn even more. I just finished Unlocking the Magic of Photoshop taught by Mickie – it has been on my bucket list of courses to take for a while (my background is a hobby photographer that has only used LR to edit photos as PS was intimidating to me) and it exceeded even my highest expectations.
